Prince of Glory participates in the Stephen Ministry program.
This program trains individuals to minister to other people. The training covers
topics such as listening skills, how to deal with grief, and other techniques to
work with people in need. Once their training is complete, participants are
commissioned. They are available to minister to individuals as the need for
their individual talents and skills arises.

The people of Prince of Glory are involved in a number of
service activities to assist others in our community. We also support national
and international efforts through the Southeast Michigan Synod and the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Follow the link to our Service
to the Community page to get more information on some of the specific activities that we have
participated in locally. All of these efforts are important to us, as they are a
means to put our faith into action.

Prince of Glory maintains a sister congregation relationship with Mbulu
Congregation in Tanzania, East Africa. We have exchanged letters and
pictures to learn more about each other. Southeast Michigan synod
representatives who have been in Tanzania have shared with us their
experiences and pictures from their trip.

Prime Timers is an informal group of people who get together on
a regular basis for service projects and social activities. These events range
from helping Habitat for Humanity build new homes to taking a trip to Chicago.
Participation is open to anyone, although the group encourages those who no
longer have child raising responsibilities (or who can leave the kids behind) to
get out and join them. Click here to view the upcoming Schedule
of Events.

The Easter Breakfast is part of our Easter celebration each year. Everyone is
invited to gather together in the fellowship hall for breakfast between the two
worship services. A buffet breakfast is served. This is a tremendous opportunity
to visit with old friends and get to know people you've just met. There is a
small cost to cover the expense of the food. Top of
