Good wishes of New Year 2003.
I have received your letter of 10th December 2002, on 3rd January 2003. I
did not received any of mentioned letters from you as you have asked (i.e
October 1st and November 2002)
I am so greatful for your letter, which show me distinctly how you are
still working hard to find communication.
Also I would like to inform you that we are still proceeding to build
Kindergarten Centre, we have completed one building and we have painted it
consisting two classroom, store and office. We have started to use this
building to teach our children from 13th January 2003, according to the
large number of children (140) we have decided to use the church for a
moment. We are teaching them everyday from Monday to Friday at exactly 8.00
- 11.00 a.m. We have four teachers, but they are not satisfying to teach
all the number of 140 Children, so we are expecting to add more teachers.
In every Saturday 230 children attend to the Bible study class, those
children come from poorest family, we have started this service in January
2003 with the Christian Institution termed as C1 based at Colorado in USA.
We have now stopped the work of building due to the lack of fund, our
request to you don't forget us in your prayers and budget in this year.
In our congregation we have Sunday School Service in every Sunday, at the
Headquarter we have 390 Children and from sub-Parish 1182 children, the
Church attendant 68 conducts them all. Women task in going on well, their
teachers visit twelve sub - Parish to conduct seminars; they walk long
distance on foot (about 60km per day) similarly youth do the same.
In our Congregation we have received new Pastor who had completed
theological studies last year, called EZEKIEL DIYAME, we are expecting that
his ordination will be at July 2003, Pastor E. Massawe has been joined with
high Studies at Norway for two years.
The Program which we have for this time is to build/ complete our Sub -
Parishes building apart from the headquarter, four of these sub - Parishes
have completed wall raising, the problem is the lack of final touch items
e.g Iron Sheet, Cement etc.
In our place the climatic condition is hot this time and the rain stopped
for a moment most crops are wilting.
