Mbulu LetterThis letter was received via email on Feb 1, 2003.
Dear Linda
I am very happy to hear from you again. I have already forwarded your e-mail
to Mbulu through the e-mai address of our Bishop as I promised. Perhaps they
will respond now. Actually it was right for you to ask those questions as far
as your position in this pertnership with Mbulu is concerned. It is good to
hear from each other frequently. Normally it wont take such a long time for
mail from your country to reach Mbulu, sometimes it takes only one or two
weeks but not more than a month. I think there might be a problem
somewhere. But please don't be discouraged. I know the Mbulu Congregation
love very much having this partnership with you our sister congregation,
POG.
About the weather since last year there is no any problem, people had a good
harvest last year and now the weather is also good so the expectation is to
have another good year. Now people in Mbulu are busy in cultivating maize,
beans and other crops as usual.
Linda, I would like to share with you that in July my wife (Martha Massawe)
will be visiting SEMI Synod, she is one of the members from the Evangelion
Luth.Church in Tanzania who are representing the church to the LWF
Assembly in Canada and after that she will be in Michigan. Bishop Rimbo and
others in his office know about this and probably there is a program for her
visitation, but I hope she would be very interested if she could get an
opportunity to visit Prince of Glory too. Don't you think so?
May God bless your life and your service in Christ.
Yours in Christ's love
Pastor Massawe
