CAN YOU DRINK THE CUP?
A Sunday Adult Forum for Lent

James and John asked Jesus to have the highest place of honor. When he told them that this would mean drinking from the Cup of which He drinks, they were confident that they were up for it. (Matthew 20:20-23) But were they? Are we? What is this "Cup" that Jesus speaks of.
You are invited to join us on Sundays in Lent from 10:00 to 11:00 am as we reflect on what it means to drink of Jesus' Cup, Do we drink of His sorrows? His joys? Does He drink of ours?
We will use the short book Can You Drink the Cup? by the noted spiritual writer Henri Nouwen as our guide. But this will be as much a discussion of our own experiences of drinking the Cup. Everyone is welcome! While it is not necessary to have a copy of the book to participate, you might find it helpful. It can be purchased from Borders, Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, and elsewhere.
