But on this Feast of Feasts, we celebrate the exposing of the lie. We celebrate our certainty that we have life and love in store for our whole lives, and into all eternity, because He has triumphed over sin, death and the devil. In our joy, we even dare to mock sin, death and the devil. As St. John Chrysostom said in one Easter sermon, "[Hell] was angered, for it was mocked!...It took a body, and face to face met God! It took earth, and encountered Heaven! It took what it saw, but crumbled before what it had not seen!" All because the God Who permitted evil to take Him in weak human flesh, conquered that evil from within through His endless, divine life.
What more is there to say, about all that God has in store for us than:
Alleluia! Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!

Council Highlights
These are some more notable items that came forth at the last POG Congregation Council meeting on February 11. These are not official minutes, nor are they guaranteed to be an exhaustive account.
n An idea was suggested to the council about young adults having their own Sunday School class in the nursery, with small children present.
n The youth will benefit from Prince of Glory members eating at Pizza Hut on the first Sunday of each month, with a portion of the bill being given to the POG youth group. The youth will have lock-ins scheduled for Fri., Feb. 29, and Fri., Mar. 7. The youth group car wash will be held on Sunday, June 15.
n Pat Wall presented a proposal for partitioning and re-organizing the fellowship area / pre-school, in particular the tiled area. The need for clear communication with the Pre-school, funeral luncheon organizers, Sunday School, and others who make use of this area, regarding the desirability of this arrangement, was expressed.
n The question was raised, how young does our insurance police permit one to be to drive the bus?
n Current council officers were all re-elected: David Bugbee as Vice-President; Laurie Tikkanen as Secretary; John Mayes as Treasurer; Barb Chmiel as Financial Secretary.
Council Vacancies still need to be filled in the areas of stewardship and property
