We have a very strong Senior fellowship Ministry at POG! Our seniors are very active, participating in a study or an outing nearly every Wednesday. For many, this is an important opportunity for fellowship, worship, study and intellectual stimulation. Our Senior Fellowship is in a time of transition, and we are looking for volunteers to be activity companions and van drivers to keep this strong fellowship ministry vital!

We are seeking several people to assist, so that no one person or couple would have this responsibility all the time. A few folks have already agreed to share some of these responsibilities, so you would not be left to handle it alone, but would be part of a team.

Senior Fellowship Schedule:
* Seniors meet most Wednesdays.
*Every other week, Seniors go on an outing to eat, to be entertained, or to learn
*On the other Wednesday, they meet at POG to attend the 11:30 Communion Service, and then to have an hour of book study followed by coffee and light snacks.
*Seniors do not meet from mid-June through Labor Day.

Activity Companions:
*Would accompany seniors on their outings (usually Wednesdays) to assure logistical coordination, give assistance, and to be a friendly companion on activities.
*Attendance at every-other-Wednesday book study would be optional (Pastor Bill leads these), though you would certainly be invited to attend.
*The POG office staff will take responsibility for helping to plan and coordinate participation in these events, so you would not be responsible for these aspects of Senior Fellowship, unless you chose to be.

• It would be up to you how frequently you chose to be an activity companion - whether every other week, monthly, or less frequently. We only ask for consistency and reliability.
